Respect the learner’s context.
A learning platform serves people with different access and different progress. Opening a course, completing a lesson, and previewing a document are distinct events—and the system has to preserve those distinctions.
Where I worked.
Implemented lesson-document preview and download support.
Added HTTP range handling across course routes and local/S3 storage drivers to support streamed document delivery.
Worked on quiz validation, learning-path progress logic, role visibility, and related-content workflows.
The workflow, on screen.
These are captures of the real interface running locally with synthetic data. The backend is mocked for this demonstration.

Access is contextual
Course visibility combines authentication, publication state, and role eligibility. Public content and restricted content follow different paths.
Opening is not completing
An initial course visit can enroll a learner without marking the course in progress. A resume point is derived from actual progress.
Deliver the part that is needed
HTTP range support lets a document viewer request a portion of a file. The route and storage driver both need to understand that request.
Small distinctions in the data model become large differences in the learning experience.
